Las Vegas Sports Events Schedule 2016 – 2017.

Among the big league associations with regular events here: NASCAR, the NBA, the PGA Tour, Major League Baseball and the Professional Bull Riders. Las Vegas is even a hot spot for AAA Baseball.
By the late ’60s and early ’70s, Las Vegas was renowned as the boxing capital of the world. Muhammed Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard and Mike Tyson all etched their legends in stone here. And we’re still the No. 1 contender for high-profile fights.
Don’t count out other sports, though. Las Vegas baseball has really come into its own here. Major League Baseball gets ready for opening day every year with Big League Weekend, a showcase featuring four major league teams in exhibition play, just days before the regular season begins.
Rodeo has become a big hit near the Strip, too. The National Finals Rodeo lassoes the heart of this Southwestern town every December at the Thomas & Mack Center. In October, the Professional Bull Riders hold their World Finals at the same venue.
Vegas is an annual pit stop for the NASCAR Sprint Cup, held at the expansive Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The NBA Summer Pro League has become a hot summer ticket at the Thomas & Mack. And you can even catch a preseason NBA game or sit rinkside at the NHL’s Frozen Fury event once a year.
Las Vegas is rightly known as a town that knows how to party. But it may well be one of America’s great sports towns.

Welcome to Las Vegas sports events!
