Las Vegas Trips – is a neon-laden paradise filled with a staggering number of hotels, casinos, shows, restaurants, shopping, and attractions. There is something for everyone with options to suit all budgets.
Planning in advance ensures you’ll avoid unnecessary expenses and wait times and have as much fun as possible.
The Strip, formally known as Las Vegas Boulevard, features the city’s high-end casinos and top attractions. The downtown area’s Fremont Street houses old Las Vegas. A few miles away from the Strip, old Las Vegas offers less expensive hotel rooms and food buffets.

Casino resorts are available for an extensive range of budgets:

– If you’re traveling on limited funds, consider Casino Royale, Circus Circus, or Sahara.

– If you’re in the market for a luxury hotel, you can’t go wrong with the Bellagio, Venetian, Caesars Palace, or Wynn.

– If you want an iconic experience in old Last Vegas, book a room at the Golden Nugget.

Regardless of your budget, look for deals on online travel sites. Most major Vegas hotels offer rooms as part of package deals, which include airfare, lodging, and a rental car.

It wouldn’t be a trip to Vegas without a few Strip attractions. Some of the most classic Vegas happenings are free and open to the public, including the Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian, the “erupting” volcano at the Mirage, and the dancing water fountains in front of the Bellagio.

Vegas also hosts an endless variety of both traveling and permanent shows, including magic shows, music concerts, and the acrobatic Cirque du Soleil. Think about picking up tickets for Paris Las Vegas’s Jersey Boys, Caesars Palace’s Absinthe, Wynn’s Le Reve: The Dream, and The LVH’s Raiding the Rock Vault.

One of the best ways to see Las Vegas in its entirety is to hop on an open-top Big Bus and take in a narrated tour of the city. There are more than 20 stops between the Strip and old Las Vegas.

During the Night Tour, you’ll see Vegas really come to life with breathtaking illuminated displays, stunning visual effects, and glowing neon signs everywhere you look.
Many people do not complete the entire Big Bus tour in a single stretch. Depending on the tour length you chose, you’ll be able to get back on the bus within a 24- or 48-hour period.

Finally, determine the mode of transportation that best fits your trip. If you’ll be staying exclusively on the Strip or in old Las Vegas, you’ll be able to get by without renting a car. Typically, car rentals are reasonable, averaging $30 per day. The buses run regularly and cost $3 per ride, with multi-ticket discounts available.
You can also take taxis anywhere in the city. Keep in mind a ride from the Strip to old Las Vegas often costs more than $20 each way.

When planning a trip to Vegas, if you’re ever in doubt, ask. Making a phone call to a hotel or putting in an online request about a show may help you avoid an unexpected expense or less than satisfactory experience.
